2:00 pm - "AEOA Outstanding Senior Volunteer Award" - Northern St. Louis County's Outstanding Senior Citizens Award is presented annually to both a man and a woman over the age of 70 for outstanding community involvement. The event is sponsored locally by AEOA and the St. Louis County Fair. The winners are then eligible to compete at the Minnesota State Fair in August. 1:00, 3:30, 6:00 pm - "Mounted Shooters" - The Minnesota Mounted Shooters are a group of individuals who like to ride, like to shoot, and like the old west. Our association is a local one that is affiliated with the national association, Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association Or CMSA.

Mounted Shooting is a horse riding and shooting competition, with the theme of a western re-enactment. The rider shoots black powder blank cartridges from .45 caliber pistols, at balloons, and is scored on accuracy and time.

Original works in wood created by Cindy Campbell-Servis, an artist who enjoys the unpredictability of wood and the speed of carving with a chainsaw.  The element of danger involved only adds drama to her work and life to her style of realism.  She enjoys realism, whimsy and abstraction, and and is known to mix these styles along with a bit of freestyle all into one work of art.  Sit back, relax, and enjoy your journey through her world in wood.

 

2:00 pm - "Pedal to the Medal" Kids Pedal Tractor Pull Registration starts at 1:00 pm at the Kids Barn

The Kids Pedal Tractor Pull is State Sanctioned for Boys and Girls ages 4 through 11.  Boys and Girls pull together in their age groups, with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place being awarded in each age group.  Only 1st and 2nd place advance to the State level with 3rd place being alternate.
